Apps over your own Markdown files

Every Pure app works on the same material: plain Markdown files, in folders you own, synced by whatever you already use. Each app does one job — editing a file, writing, task boards, a personal wiki — and edits the document as formatted text while the file on disk stays plain Markdown. Delete an app and your files remain exactly as they were.

Your files, in a format that stays yours

Files, not a database

Each app reads and writes ordinary .md files on disk. There is no import step, no library and no proprietary container — delete the app and the files remain, readable in any editor.

Any sync, or none

Files live where you put them: a local folder, iCloud Drive, Dropbox, a git repository. The apps do not sync and do not need to — they work on files, and files sync.

Hebrew and English in one document

Every paragraph, heading and list item takes its direction from its own first strong character. A mixed document reads correctly with no setting, and nothing is written into the file to make it work.

Native and private

Each app is a Rust binary using the system webview, not an Electron browser. No account, no network calls, no telemetry — what is in your files stays on your device.
